Episode 6: ”Where is your God?”

This episode takes us 12 years into the future, where Larry preaches a sermon titled "Where is Your God" at New Covenant Bible Church.
The sermon text is Psalm 115.
After the sermon Daniel returns and we discuss man's free will, or lack thereof, and the effects of the Fall.

Episode 5: Romans 1:18-23 "Foolosophers"

In this episode Larry continues his study in Romans, beginning the sermon in verse 18 of chapter 1.  Verse 18 begins Paul's teaching on the wrath of God, which continues all the way through to chapter 3 verse 20.  In verse 21 of chapter 21 Paul gives us the good news of redemption by beginning the verse, "But now..."
Before the good news can be truly understood however, the text demands a comprehensive exegesis of the wrath of God.  This sermon covers verses 18-23.

Episode 4: Romans 1:16-17 "We've Got the Gospel"

Larry continues his study in Romans.  This sermon covers verses 16 and 17 of chapter 1, the verses Martin Luther made famous during the protestant reformation.  Faithann offers her brief commentary after Larry's sermon and the episode concludes with a large congregation, a choir and an orchestra with pipe organ singing "A mighty fortress is our God."

Episode 3: Romans 1:7-15 "The Grandmother"

Larry continues his study in the first chapter of Romans.  He discusses prayer and how the Christian participates in the revealed will of God.  After the sermon, Faithann uses a Thanksgiving analogy to expand upon how the Christian should view the commandments of Christ. 

Episode 2: Romans 1:1-7 "The Job of a Good Preacher"

Larry begins his study in the book of Romans.  His sermon covers the first 7 verses.  Introducing Paul, a bondservant of Christ Jesus to his congregants.  After the sermon, Faithann interviews Larry's son-in-law, Daniel.  Daniel gives the heartwarming account of how he came to understand the Gospel through Larry's teaching.
