In this episode of The Timeless Gospel, Joy steps into the host's seat to join her sister Faithann—both daughters of Pastor Larry Horton—for a thoughtful discussion on the sermon from Episode 70.
To set the stage, Joy offers a brief and insightful introduction to Gnosticism, a key context as Larry leads his congregation through the book of Colossians. Their focus centers on Colossians 1:9–13, the passage explored in the previous sermon and the foundation of today’s conversation.

In this episode, Joy and Faithann return to the sermon featured in Episode 67, sharing a thoughtful follow-up conversation around its key themes.
Due to a technical hiccup, part of the original discussion was lost. Thankfully, Faithann was able to reconstruct the conversation using Joy’s recorded thoughts from the original session and her own thoughts recorded a few days later. The result is a slightly fragmented but heartfelt exchange.
We’re reminded again that God’s plans often don’t unfold the way we expect—but we trust that even in this imperfect format, His plans will prevail and you will be edified.
